Information on the Protection of Consumer Rights

This Information on the Protection of Consumer Rights is intended to inform users of the website Qunitselection.com  (hereinafter referred to as the Quint) about their rights in connection with the purchase of goods and about the protective measures they can apply in the event of a violation of their rights.

1. Right to Withdraw from the Agreement
Right to withdraw from the agreement:

​

  The consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the day on which he or she came into possession of the purchased goods or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer came into possession of the goods.

 To exercise the right to withdraw from the contract, the consumer must inform us of their decision by means of an unequivocal statement sent to the e-mail address: leaonard@quintselection.com


  In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the consumer will receive a refund of all payments made, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest option offered by us), no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of the consumer's decision.

2. Exceptions to the right to withdraw from the contract:

  The right to withdraw from the contract does not apply to the delivery of goods made to special order or tailored to the individual needs of the consumer.


 The right to withdraw also does not apply to goods that were inseparably connected with other items after delivery.

 

2. Right to Complaint
1.Warranty for physical and legal defects of the goods:

​

 The seller is liable for physical and legal defects of the sold goods that existed at the time of transfer of the risk to the buyer or resulted from a cause inherent in the item sold at the same time.

  The consumer has the right to file a complaint if the goods do not comply with the contract. In the event of a defect in the goods, the consumer may request the repair of the goods, replacement with a new one, a reduction in the price or withdrawal from the contract (if the defect is significant).


  Complaints should be submitted by e-mail to leonard@quintselection.com, describing the defect and attaching proof of purchase invoice, receipt.

2. Complaint handling deadlines:

  The complaint will be considered within 14 days of its receipt. The consumer will be informed of the decision regarding the complaint by e-mail or phone.

3. Warranty:

​

  If the sold product is covered by a warranty, information on the warranty period and terms of its implementation will be provided to the consumer together with the product. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the consumer's rights arising from the provisions on warranty for defects in the sold item.

1.Consumer's right to protection against unfair practices:

  The consumer is protected against unfair market practices, including misleading by the seller. All actions of the seller must be in accordance with good customs and cannot violate the interests of the consumer.

 

2.Consumer's right to protection of personal data:

​

  Consumers' personal data are processed in accordance with applicable provisions of the law on the protection of personal data, including the GDPR. The consumer has the right to access their data, correct it and request its deletion.

4. Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods
1. Mediation and arbitration:

​

  In the event of a dispute related to the sales contract, the consumer has the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration. The seller undertakes to attempt to resolve the dispute amicably.

2. ODR Platform:

​

  The consumer has the option of using the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR), available at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, which allows for the resolution of disputes regarding online purchases.

5. Institutions Protecting Consumer Rights
1. Consumer Ombudsman:

​

  The consumer may obtain legal assistance from the municipal or district consumer ombudsman. The ombudsman provides free legal assistance and may act on behalf of the consumer in disputes.


2. Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK):

​

  A consumer has the right to report a violation of their rights to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), which supervises compliance with consumer law.

 


6. Final Provisions


1. Changes to the Information on the Protection of Consumer Rights:

  The Administrator reserves the right to introduce changes to this Information on the Protection of Consumer Rights. Users will be informed of any significant changes via a message on the Website or by e-mail.
